Having arrived yesteraday I went for a look around Springfield. What I found was... not a lot. Maybe because it was early Sunday evening, but I don't think it is really a tourist town (although it does have a lot of hotels!). Apparently it is the birthplace of Route 66 although there is little sign of it.Therefore, I am hitting the road this morning and heading off to Oklahoma City!
