An administrative note

This blog, compared to many of the others I have written, will (hopefully) come with a bit of a “whoosh” all together.  This is because my mobile phone company did not (as requested) turn on roaming on my phone before I went away, and blogger used the mobile to check it is you when you log on from somewhere new.  Therefore, whilst this has been mainly written on the road, it all appears back in the UK...

And where is that road?  A path that leads through Central Europe from Prague to Warsaw via Dresden and Berlin.  Actually, it is not a road, or a path, more a train track (thanks to Deutsche Bahn).  Either way, let’s start on it.
